UK designer Mary Katrantzou has saved us some time – this week we don’t need to write two separate posts about interiors and fashion. Let’s just say she took care of that for us with her neo-baroque designs that “put the room on the woman, rather than the woman in the room.”
These bright and intricate designs are certainly a breath of fresh air in a downturned economy. Katrantzou referred to the photography of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin, with breathtaking interiors (and exteriors) that inspired the detailed digital prints of her Spring 2011 Collection.
We don’t know about you, but Mary Katrantzou’s looks make us want to travel…so look for us at Versailles and we might just be rocking one of these numbers along with eco jewelry from the latest jewelry trends.
